DAY 2, Thursday - Arrive in Zurich, Transfer to Lucerne
Arrive in Zurich, Switzerland's financial center and home to many of the world's leading banks. Transfer to your hotel in Lucerne and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM, followed by dinner. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 4 PM

DAY 3, Friday - Lucerne Walking Tour, Farm Tour
Start the day with an orientation walking tour of Lucerne, including the inspiring Lion Monument. One of the best-known monuments in the country, the Lion of Lucerne was created in remembrance of the heroic death of Swiss guards killed during the French Revolution. View the 14th century medieval Chapel Bridge, forming the centerpiece of Lucerne's townscape. Savor a delicious cheese fondue lunch at Hinter Musegg cultural center and later tour the Hinter Musegg Urban Farm, a unique farm located within the Musseg area of Lucerne. Meet farm animals and gain insight into local dairy production and rural traditions preserved in this distinctive urban setting

DAY 4, Saturday - ChocoWelt Chocolate Museum
Visit the ChocoWelt Chocolate Museum, dedicated to the art and history of chocolate. Explore interactive exhibits that showcase the journey of chocolate, its cultural significance, and the fascinating processes used in chocolate production. Take part in a chocolate bar workshop, where you can create your own chocolate to take home. The remainder of the day is at leisure, or perhaps join the optional tour to Mount Pilatus. Board a cogwheel railway which takes you to the summit of Mt. Pilatus at nearly 7,000 feet. Later, descend by aerial cableway

DAY 5, Sunday - Lake Lucerne Cruise, Gotthard Panorama Express
This morning, embark on a scenic cruise across Lake Lucerne from Lucerne to Fluelen, passing by notable sites of Central Switzerland such as the Ruetli Meadow, Tell Chapel, Schiller Stone, and Treib. Travel from Fluelen to Lugano aboard the historic Gotthard Railway with its spectacular route, crossing numerous bridges and passing through various spiral tunnels that feature the engineering marvels of the Swiss Alps. Dinner tonight is at the hotel

DAY 6, Monday - Monte San Salvatore Funicular
Travel by funicular from Paradiso, just outside Lugano, to the summit of Monte San Salvatore. The ride climbs high above Lake Lugano, offering beautiful views along the way. At the summit, marvel at the panoramic vistas of Lake Lugano, the surrounding valleys, and the distant Alps. Take time to stroll the viewpoints and take a family photo before descending back down the mountain

DAY 7, Tuesday - Discover Bellinzona
Your day of exploration begins with a visit to the town of Bellinzona, famous for its medieval castles and fortified walls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Begin at Castelgrande, a magnificent medieval fortress perched atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding town and Alps. Explore its impressive walls, ancient towers, and open courtyards before continuing to Piazza del Sole, a lively square at the foot of the castle, perfect for taking in the local atmosphere. Next, stroll through the narrow streets of Bellinzona's Old Town, lined with historic buildings and local shops. Later, head back to Lugano

DAY 8, Wednesday - Swissminiature Museum, Stresa
Begin with a visit to the Swissminiature Museum, an open-air museum that features Switzerland in miniature. Explore detailed scale models of the country's most iconic buildings, villages, and landscapes, meticulously crafted to capture the diversity of Swiss architecture and scenery. Walk through the park and admire the moving trains, boats, and interactive displays that bring each miniature scene to life. Spend free time having lunch before departing for the resort town of Stresa on Lake Maggiore. Arrive and check into your hotel

DAY 9, Thursday - Cross Lake Maggiore, Visit Isola Bella & Isola dei Pescatori
Today, cruise across Lake Maggiore to Isola Bella for a visit to the magnificent Borromeo Palace with its splendid gardens and white peacocks. Continue to the charming Fishermen's Island, or Isola dei Pescatori, that gets its name from the occupation of its inhabitants. Walk along the windy medieval streets and marvel at the incredible views of the lake. Sail back to Stresa with time to experience the delights and mountain views of this lakeside town. Tonight, at dinner, bid farewell to your Tour Manager

Transfer to the airport in Milan for your departure flight
