DAY 2, Saturday - Arrive in Naples, Transfer to Sorrento
Arrive in Naples and transfer to your hotel in Sorrento, where panoramic views and the sapphire blue waters of the Gulf of Naples await. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM,followed by dinner. We recommend you select flights that arrive no later than 4 PM

DAY 3, Sunday - Full Day in Sorrento
Enjoy a leisurely day in Sorrento strikingly beautiful with its seaside setting and soaring cliffs plunging into the sea. As you stroll along the coastal road and through the town, you'll understand why Sorrento has long been loved by poets and artists. Don't miss the optional full day tour to the enchanting Isle of Capri by boat. Here, walk through the narrow lanes of Anacapri, lined with chic boutiques and shops offering tastings of the island's famous limoncello. Then proceed to La Piazzetta, where everyone gathers to socialize. Perhaps continue to the Gardens of Augustus, where you can admire splendid views of the sea and the famous Faraglioni rock formations. After a lovely day in Capri, return to Sorrento

DAY 4, Monday - Pompeii Tour
Today, as you pass the Bay of Naples, the majestic Mt. Vesuvius marks your way to Pompeii. Visit the city that was frozen in time under a thick carpet of volcanic ash almost 2,000 years ago. Walk through the original sloping streets of Pompeii and witness firsthand the everyday life of Roman times, along with the preserved ruins of the Temples of Apollo, Jupiter, and the Forum. Return to Sorrento and spend time at leisure

DAY 5, Tuesday - The Gorgeous Amalfi Drive
Depart Sorrento and embark on one of the most spectacular drives in the world along the rugged Amalfi Coast, renowned for its dramatic landscapes and breathtaking panoramas. Nestled into mountains that rise thousands of feet above the sea, you'll see enchanting villages, cliffs terraced with lemon groves, whitewashed villas, and sparkling turquoise seas. Drive by Positano and stop in Amalfi, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to spend time at leisure in town. Afterward journey inland to Matera, a city built into stone. Tonight, dinner is at the hotel

DAY 6, Wednesday - Explore Matera & Bari's Old City
This morning, learn about Matera's roots, which date back to the Paleolithic Age, as you explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mysterious Sassi (ancient stone dwellings carved into rock) are believed to be the first human settlements in Italy. Over the centuries, the Sassi were transformed into family homes. Continue to the port city of Bari, the capital of Italy's Puglia region. The exploration of Bari starts in the revitalized narrow streets of the Old City (Bari Vecchia). View Bari Cathedral and the Romanesque Basilica of San Nicola, which houses the relics of St. Nicholas, the inspiration for Father Christmas. Next, your walking tour reveals the 12th century Castello Normanno-Svevo, built by the Normans. Tonight, linger on your own through Bari's squares, admire the architecture, and try traditional Pugliese food in one of the piazzas buzzing with trendy restaurants and cafes

DAY 7, Thursday - Full Day in Bari
Spend the day at leisure in Bari, or join the optional full day tour of Trani with lunch. Travel to the historic seaside town of Trani, with its harbor and 12th century cathedral dedicated to San Nicola Pellegrino, spectacularly positioned at the water's edge. Continue through a landscape dotted with centuries-old olive trees. Tasting the green-gold of the region (extra-virgin olive oil) is a must, as it enhances nearly any Mediterranean dish and pairs perfectly with local wine at lunch. Upon return, have time to explore on your own and perhaps dine at one of the trattorias in the city center

DAY 8, Friday - Masseria Lunch & Alberobello
Begin the day with a visit to a local Masseria, or farmhouse for a lunch of regional specialties accompanied by wine. Next, visit the town of Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its traditional Apulian dry-stone huts called Trulli. In existence since the 14th century, these unusual structures featuring pyramidal, domed, or conical roofs, are examples of mortarless, drywall construction, a prehistoric building technique used in this region. Tonight, at dinner, bid farewell to your Tour Manager
