DAY 2, Saturday - Arrive in Geneva, Transfer to Chamonix
Arrive in the cosmopolitan city of Geneva and transfer to your hotel in Chamonix, a world-renowned mountain resort, nestled in the French Alps. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM, followed by dinner. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 2 PM

DAY 3, Sunday - Travel to Les Houches, Train to Bellevue, Le Prarion Hike, Train to Les Houches
Travel to Les Houches and board the train to Bellevue, where your alpine adventure begins. Hike through splendid mountain scenery toward Le Prarion, passing the panoramic ridge of Tête de la Charme. Along the way, stop for a picnic lunch*, set against a beautiful natural backdrop. Afterward, descend by mountain rail back to Les Houches and return to Chamonix. The evening is free to discover Chamonix's vibrant nightlife

DAY 4, Monday - Train to Planpraz, La Flégère, Courmayeur
Today, walk to the Chamonix rail station, where you'll catch a train to Planpraz. Upon arrival, embark on a scenic alpine hike to La Flégère. Admire awe-inspiring vistas of Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks as you make your way through high alpine meadows and rocky ridgelines. Pause to enjoy a picnic lunch* and take in the beauty of the Alps. Descend via mountain railway and return to Chamonix. Next, travel to Courmayeur through the Mont Blanc Tunnel, linking the French and Italian Alps. Arrive and check into your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure

DAY 5, Tuesday - La Visaille to Lac du Miage Trek
This morning, head to La Visaille, nestled in the Val Veny Valley at the foot of the Mont Blanc massif. From here, set off on a hike along a trail that winds through glacial valleys and wildflower-filled meadows, arriving at Combal plain. Continue to Lac du Miage, a striking glacial lake offering stunning views of surrounding peaks and hanging glaciers. After soaking in the dramatic mountain scenery, travel back to La Visaille. Following lunch at a local restaurant, return to the hotel in the afternoon

DAY 6, Wednesday - Aosta, Great St Bernard Pass Museum, Hike to Bourg-Saint-Bernard
Depart Courmayeur this morning and travel to the town of Aosta. Visit its Old Town, rich in Roman ruins and medieval architecture, and browse the local handicraft market, where artisans showcase traditional Alpine goods and regional specialties. Next, visit the Grand- St.-Bernard Pass Museum, located at one of the Alps' highest and most historic crossings, to learn about the region's centuries-old role in travel and rescue. Then, stop at the Barry Kennel, home to the St. Bernard dogs, famous for their role in alpine rescues. In the afternoon, begin the hike to the village of Bourg-Saint-Bernard, following a scenic trail through rugged mountain terrain and lush pastures. After the hike, drive to Champex-Lac*, located at the foot of the Mont Blanc massif. Check into your room upon arrival. Have dinner at the hotel tonight
*For the Jul 17, Jul 31, and Sep 4 departures, the overnight stay will be in Grand-St-Bernhard instead of Champex-Lac.

DAY 7, Thursday - Train to La Breya, Hike though Val d'Arpette, Visit Alpine Garden in Champex-Lac
Begin* your adventure with a train ride to La Breya, perched above the village of Champex. From here, embark on a hike through the Val d'Arpette, one of the most beautiful valleys in the region, known for its dramatic mountain landscapes. The trail leads you along the Bisse de Champex, a traditional partly wooden irrigation channel that once brought glacial water to local pastures. Admire sweeping views of snow-dusted peaks, lush meadows, and dense pine forests before descending to the shores of Champex-Lac. After a picnic lunch*, visit the Alpine Garden, featuring over 3,000 plant species from mountain ranges around the world. Travel to Chamonix and check into your hotel. Tonight, at dinner, bid farewell to your Tour Manager
*For the Jul 17, Jul 31, and Sep 4 departures, the day begins with a transfer to Champex-Lac first.
